Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in California. This role will be project-based, contract initially and integral to maintaining the financial health and accuracy of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite, full-cycle accounting duties, including reconciliation and audit preparation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Participate in project-based accounting tasks.
• Utilize Sage x3 software (Sage highly preferred but not required) to manage financial records.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

Monday to Friday, first shift.

Benefits

Employees are offered a competitive salary, with the pay range from $38 to $42 per hour. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional growth and a supportive work environment.
