Essential Duties & Responsibilities Overview

The Transportation Innovation intern will support the Transportation team by assessing current scheduling processes and identifying opportunities to digitize and automate through modern tools or AI-based solutions. This intern will evaluate current spreadsheet workflows, research emerging technologies, and create a proof-of-concept or recommendation roadmap for future implementation.

• Analyze current transportation scheduling processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Evaluate and optimize spreadsheet workflows, ensuring data accuracy and ease of use for the team.
• Research emerging technologies and AI-based solutions that could enhance transportation planning and operations.
• Develop proof-of-concept models or recommendation roadmaps for implementing digitized and automated solutions.
• Collaborate with the Transportation team to ensure proposed innovations align with business needs and drive measurable impact.

What You'll Gain

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) an undergraduate program. At least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S. A valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and a driving record that meets company policy. Must be commutable Willingness to travel as needed. Strong communication and organization skills. Current sophomore or higher in Supply Chain / Logistics Management, Transportation Engineering, or related field.
