Position SummaryUnder limited supervision, performs electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, and wiring of moderate complexity. Works from production and assembly drawings, parts list, diagrams, schematics and verbal / written instructions within a Lean Manufacturing environment. Essential Job Functions-Ability to follow processes while maintaining process control. -Capable of reading drawings-Use of hand tools, including power tools-Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and independently-Complete final test of the finished product by following standard test procedure and adhering to one-piece flow-Collect and input data into various systems, as required-Cross-train within the production cell to learn additional assembly, kitting and packaging operations-Maintain quality standards-Mechanical assembly of company products Education / License Requirements-High school diploma or GED required Experience Requirements-Prior assembly experience-Experience reading assembly drawings-Prior experience in electronic and electro-mechanical assembly and sub-assemblies-Wiring, soldering experience is not required, however, it is preferred
