Registered Nurse Behavioral Health

Summary

Utilizes the nursing process of assessment and planning to oversee and deliver patient care. Educates patients and coordinates care to ensure quality outcomes. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to facilitate a timely, integrated, and coordinated approach to the care of patients in need of mental health services.

• Greet each patient after being checked in by CSR staff to complete a "triage" to address any current needs of the patient
• Medication reconciliation
• Assisting with referrals made by the med management provider to other departments
• Processing refill requests
• Pre-visit planning prior to scheduled appointments
• Caseload management and follow up
• Administration of injectable medications
• Urine drug screening
