Talascend is seeking qualified candidates to apply for a hybrid Financial Analyst position with a leading automotive manufacturer located in Warren, MI. Must be local.

SUMMARY :

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our Talent Acquisition team, with foundational responsibilities in financial analysis. This hybrid role is essential in supporting financial planning and reporting for our HR functions. This is an entry-level finance role with a primary focus on billing and payments.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Track monthly spend, investigate PO invoice blocks, make vendor payments & preform month end checkbook
  • Analyze and report on Talent Acquisition budget performance, including cost-per-hire and return on investment (ROI) of recruitment

efforts.

  • Prepare and maintain financial forecasts and models for hiring initiatives and workforce planning.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities in recruitment operations while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for executive leadership on hiring performance and budget utilization.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience in tracking spend, budgeting, coordinating payments (SAAP and Ariba)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., ATS, HRIS) and an understanding of recruitment metrics.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Procurement, Audit, or related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience required.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project).
  • Proficiency across various Reporting & Analysis Tools, ERP systems (GPS, MGO, PDS, E-Squared, eSAP, MARS).
