Resolve Surgical Technologies is looking for a 2nd shift or weekend shift CNC Operator to join our team!

POSITION SUMMARY :

CNC Operator – All Levels : represents an entry level position through an advanced level. The CNC Operator will continue to develop technical skills in their assigned areas, further their growth as team contributors, and begin using their experience and technical abilities to demonstrate leadership characteristics . The position requires hands-on experience and growing proficiency of Resolve Surgical’s most complicated processes. This position is critical in helping Resolve Surgical Technologies maximize the number of patients served while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.

Shift Options (may vary depending on availability)

  • 4 / 10 schedule (6am or 4pm start)
  • Weekend

At this time, 4 / 10 - 4pm start and weekend are priority shifts

RESPONSIBILITIES :

CNC Operator – All Levels :

  • Milling, Turning, & Electrical discharge machining (EDM)
  • Machine parts to specifications
  • Replace, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools
  • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines
  • Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications
  • Maintain machine tools in proper operational condition
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with Resolve’s safety protocols and OSHA requirements.
  • CNC Operator 1 :

  • Entry-level position
  • Operates a limited number of machines
  • Performs basic inspections
  • CNC Operator 2 : Inclusive of level 1 responsibilities

  • Intermediate-level position
  • Operates multiple machine types
  • Performs basic set-ups
  • Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operation needed to fabricate products.
  • Operate equipment to verify operations efficiency
  • Inspect work pieces to ensure they are properly lubricated or cooled.
  • Assist with coordinating and conducting training where applicable and needed
  • CNC Operator 3 : Inclusive of level 1 & 2 responsibilities

  • Advanced-level position,
  • Operates multiple machine types
  • Cross-trained in multiple areas
  • Performs basic to increasingly complex set-ups
  • Assist with coordinating and conducting training where applicable and needed

  • EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND / OR PREFERRED :

    CNC Operator 1 :

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion or enrollment in the NMU CNC certification program or 1 year of equivalent work experience preferred
  • CNC Operator 2 :

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion or enrollment in the NMU CNC certification program or 2+ years of equivalent work experience preferred
  • CNC Operator 3 :

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Recommended 5+ years of experience of equivalent work experience preferred
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :

    Technical Competencies

  • CNC skills (shop math, print reading, locating prints)
  • Intermediate mathematics (manipulating numbers, quantities, shapes, and spaces)
  • Intermediate hand tools (safety and appropriately use hammers, screwdrivers, hacksaws, and other hand tools)
  • Computer skills (Standard Works, following SOP’s, navigating One Drive / Sharepoint, Propel)
  • Fundamental or basic understanding of geometric and dimensional tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Basic to Advanced inspection techniques
  • Basic to Advanced SAP knowledge / fundamentals
  • Equipment selection and maintenance knowledge
  • Beginning computer-aided manufacturing, level 3 only (beginning to understand computer-assisted design programs (e.g. CAD, CAM) and processes / machines (e.g. 5-axis machining, CNC machines, mills, and lathes)).
