Job Purpose

The Program Manager is responsible for achieving financial, delivery, and customer satisfaction objectives. This role will support both production and design and development projects with an emphasis on both short-term and long-term strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Execute and monitor program activities.

Manage changes to scope, cost, and schedule of program work.

Coordinate priorities and resources between multiple programs.

Prepare and update project plans and status reports.

Provide updates on customer and corporate issues.

Participate in strategic business meetings to balance requirements across multiple customers.

Coordinate cross-functional meetings of personnel related to program.

Facilitate sessions to effectively resolve issues as they arise.

Utilize corporate processes to track program schedule and cost.

Report status, develop program-related documentation, and implement lessons learned.

Participate in program performance review meetings and discussions.

Participate in corporate business development activities.

Update and maintain production and quality metrics of programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business or closely related discipline, or equivalent level of demonstrated knowledge acquired through experience and / or other training.

4 years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, or Government Contract Administration or related environment.

Ability to read, write, and understand English and be comfortable presenting to audiences up to 30 people both virtually and in person.

Comfortable with general accounting principles and earned value management is preferable.

Experienced and comfortable with M.S. Office and Project applications.
