This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As a member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the development, operation, and maintenance of state-of-the-art space vehicle and rocket engine component test facilities, with a specialized focus on data acquisition and control systems. You will work cross-functionally with customers, test operations, and design teams to ensure robust software and hardware configurations while maintaining facility test cadence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain, upgrade, and validate test stand data acquisition (DAQ) systems-including hardware assembly, setup, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support for test stand instrumentation : generate and update harness / interface drawings, electrical power schematics, and data / control documentation. Offer mentorship, training, and hands-on troubleshooting to both technicians and engineers.
• Lead instrumentation and control system integration activities : design, review, fabricate, install, and functionally check wire harnesses, components, and instrumentation at test stands.
• Develop and maintain software configuration files, test scripts, and formal test procedures.
• Create and enhance LabVIEW console GUIs for instrument control and data monitoring.
• Monitor and verify instrumentation health / performance on test stands and test articles by reviewing and analyzing test data.

Required for certain Job Profiles : Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
