Competitive pay : $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
Great Schedule : Monday-Friday; alternating every 2 - 3 weeks to work a Saturday
Shift Times : 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm
Duration : 4-5 months

High School Diploma or GED equivalentMedical Assistant DiplomaMinimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experienceKnowledge of basic medical terminology and clinical proceduresBLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)Strong customer service skills and ability to work empathetically with childrenAbility to remain calm, positive, and focused in fast-paced or stressful situationsReliable, organized, and excellent time management skillsResponsibilities
Front office supportGreet and check in patients; verify insurance and authorizationsSchedule appointments and manage reminder callsAnswer phones, route messages, scan / fax documents, manage intake paperworkCollect patient demographic, payments, and obtain consent formsClinical Back OfficeRoom pediatric patients and record vitals, height, weight, and medical historyPrepare exam and infusion rooms with supplies and equipmentAssist nurses and providers during procedures and infusion visitsAdminister vaccines and assist with injectionsPerform point-of-care testing and collect lab specimensEnsure accurate and timely documentation in EPICFamily Support & CommunicationProvide compassionate support to children receiving infusionsOffer clear communication to parents regarding visit flow and expectationsRespond promptly to patient questions, concerns, and provider messagesMaintain a child-friendly, safe, organized environmentOperations SupportMaintain inventory, restock supplies, and ensure clean work areasEscalate urgent patient concerns appropriatelyCollaborate with nursing, administrative teams, and infusion staffParticipate in a rotating Saturday shift (every 2 - 3 weeks)
