Key Responsibilities
Disassemble decommissioned power distribution units using basic hand and pneumatic tools
Salvage metals and reusable parts from retired equipment
Properly handle and dispose of oils solvents and other liquid compounds
Move units along conveyor systems from in-processing to decommissioning areas
Operate forklifts overhead cranes and other material-handling equipment as required
Maintain responsibility for tools and equipment within assigned work areas
Collaborate closely with team members in a shop-floor environment
Work overtime or respond to call-ins as needed
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Honest dependable and safety-minded
Physically able to perform heavy labor (lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently)
Comfortable working in both hot and cold environments
Proficient in using hand tools gauges and test equipment
Self-motivated with the ability to complete assigned tasks independently and efficiently
Valid U.S. drivers license preferred
