Number of Beds – 8

Number of Staff – 23 RNs total

Type of staff :

o Day Shift – 2 7a-7p RNs, 1 9a-9p RN, 1 11a-11p RN

o Night Shift – 2 7p-7a RNs

Patient Ratios – 1 : 4

Type of equipment – GE Monitors, Nursecall system, Small Ventilator, Baxter Pumps, Zoll Defibs

EMR – Meditech

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Independent IV skills, EKG skills and Assessment skills

2 years previous ER experience

ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIH, TNCC

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Experience in the Freestanding ED setting

Independent mixing of Pharmacy drugs such as Tpa, KCentra

List typical procedures performed on unit(s) :

IVs, EKGs, Medication mixing

Scanning of medications for every patient / every med.
