I have a client located in the Twin Cities area that has an immediate need for a Hardware / Panel Designer to design and layout panels for PLC's for a growing electrical firm. Required : 5 plus years' experience designing panels Develop and modify control panel drawings including mechanical layouts and electrical schematics Create I / O Lists, specifications and other documentation Develop and Maintain CAD components blocks, templates and title blocks Experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical or EPlan Responsibilities : Provide detailed design of industrial control systems including control panel design, networking design, and field device specification Develop and modify control panel drawings including mechanical layouts and electrical schematics Interpret P&ID, Process Flows, Specifications, and other system design documentation to use as the basis of control system design Provide control panel designs compliant with UL508A and UL698 Create I / O lists, specifications, test procedures, manuals, and other projects documentation as needed Develop process and set up standards for the panel division.
