- Pay Rate : $27.00 per hour
- Hours : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM
Key Responsibilities :
Receive, document, and process returned medical devices in the Global Complaint Management SystemDecontaminate medical device returns following OSHA, safety protocols, and established Work InstructionsPackage, document, and coordinate the shipment of returned devices to external vendorsSafely dispose of biohazard materials and manage laboratory inventory and suppliesTrack and organize laboratory Work-In-Progress (WIP) and ensure proper storage and disposal of products after retention periodsAssist in root cause investigations, CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) activities, and nonconformance evaluations (NCEP)Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management systemMaintain compliance with Quality System Regulations (QSR), FDA, Medical Device Directive (MDD), and ISO 13485 quality standardsEnsure accurate, timely, and complete documentation in support of complaint handling and product investigationsBuild a culture of quality and compliance in day-to-day operationsRequirements :
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in life sciences or related field preferredMinimum 3 years of laboratory, quality, or medical device experience (or equivalent combination of education and work experience)Hands-on experience with complaint management systems and handling medical device returns preferredFamiliarity with chemical handling, mixing reagents, and laboratory safety protocolsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); strong communication and technical writing skillsExperience with FDA QSR, MDD, ISO 13485 Quality Standards, and CAPA / NCEP processes a plusSelf-motivated team player with excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions and proceduresComfortable working with explanted medical device returns and exposure to biological materials (blood)Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindsetPreferred Skills :
Previous experience in laboratory operations within the medical device or healthcare industryAbility to proactively manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to document processes and follow established quality protocolsWhy You Should Apply :
