Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking First-Line Flightline Operations Managers (Level K) to support the 737 Field Operations team in Renton WA. This position is available for our 2nd or 3rd shift and will be determined at the time of offer.

This position will require the candidate to use their business leadership and people skills to inspire a safe work environment and exceptional performance to develop and execute business plans policies and procedures. Successful candidates must be able to develop and maintain relationships with customers stakeholders cross-functional support and direct reports.

Position Responsibilities :

Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation systems operation functional testing modification maintenance troubleshooting repair preflight and postflight checks release for flight and preparation for delivery

Interfaces with flight crews engineering management suppliers and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance

Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes

Manages develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Renton WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

3 years of experience in an Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing environment

3 years of experience working in a cross functional environment

1 years of experience in a formal or informal leadership position

Possess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License OR the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairmans certificate

Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overnights as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

3 years of flight line operations experience

3 years of functional test knowledge

3 years of experience working with live customers

3 years of experience with any of the following : quality assurance troubleshooting capabilities functional test knowledge release ticket experience manufacturing and / or structures

3 years of proficiency using CMES

Shift : This position is for 2nd or 3rd shift and will be determined at the time of offer.
