ER RN Mid-Shift 1p-1a FT

Description

Works collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff to ensure that quality and competent care is rendered in all phases of patient care within the units. Works with nursing staff with care planning to ensure that patients are cared for at the highest level throughout the continuum. Responsible for all customer satisfaction initiatives with areas of responsibility. Demonstrates outstanding technical skill and knowledge to provide care in an Emergency room setting. Facilitates shift organization and management to achieve optimal patient appropriate resource utilization. Builds and maintains a high-performance care delivery team. Manages conflict and competing imperatives. Builds customer loyalty among physicians, employees and the community.

Requirements

• BLS
• PALS
• ACLS
• Trauma (preferred)
• 1-3 Years Clinical Experience (Preferred)
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations.
• Cognitive and technical knowledge and
• Ability to progressively manage care delivery across the continuum of care. The ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing required; as is the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written work.
• Must be flexible with work scheduling.
• Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.
