A well-established manufacturing company in Stratford is seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join our team.
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
Pay : $18–$20 / hour, based on experience
We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering top-quality work. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
- Set up and operate rewind inspection machines to convert large master rolls into finished, customer-ready rolls
- Perform thorough visual inspections of labels to ensure high standards in print quality, alignment, die-cut accuracy, and overall presentation
- Identify and flag / remove defective labels; document quality issues
- Verify roll count, core size, and copy position per customer specifications
- Apply core labels and job-specific identifiers
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace
- Report production or quality concerns to supervisors or QA team
- Assist with packaging rolls for shipment
- Read and interpret customer prints and job travelers
- Work cooperatively across departments as needed
- Follow all company and quality procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional heavy lifting
