Role

The Business Analyst is a strategic enabler of insight and impact within the Customer Value Practicetranslating complex data into clear, actionable intelligence that drives transformation across programs and practices. This role blends analytical rigor with compelling storytelling to inform executive decisions and elevate operational excellence. The Business Analyst contributes to AI?powered transformation through data?driven insights, interactive dashboards, and performance measurement frameworks, actively identifying opportunities to amplify value through intelligent analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design executive?ready dashboards that track KPIs and program health.
• Craft compelling data narratives that influence strategic direction.
• Embed analytics into transformation programs to ensure measurable outcomes.
• Partner across verticals and horizontals to ensure data quality, consistency, and relevance.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
• Translate complex analytics into clear, engaging narratives for technical and non?technical audiences.
• Create high?quality data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and dashboards.
• Work closely with data stewards and cross?functional teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.
• Develop and deliver regular reports to stakeholders.
• Stay current on best practices in analytics, visualization, and AI?driven insights.
• Ensure all reporting aligns with Microsoft security and privacy standards.
• Ensure data access and availability through dashboards, scorecards, and other reporting sources is compliant with Microsoft security & privacy standards.
• Embody Microsofts culture and values.

Business Analytics IC4 The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD?$106,400 $203,600 per year. For specific work locations, the base pay range is USD?$137,600 $222,600 per year in the San?Francisco Bay Area and New?York City Metropolitan Area.
