Possess deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Showcase strong technical research and writing skills. Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Communicate findings clearly to management and stakeholders. Prefer experience in public company environments or industries like engineering or professional services.
Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $160,000 to $180,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and implement complex accounting standards such as ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 805.
- Prepare technical memos and position papers for senior leadership and external auditors.
- Support financial reporting through statement preparation, footnote disclosures, and audit coordination.
- Advise on accounting implications of mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
- Mentor accounting team members and collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives.
