Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our remote sales team. The ideal candidate will possess fluent English, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to sales. This role is crucial for our customer acquisition and retention efforts, focusing on inbound inquiry management, proactive outreach to past clients, and new business development through targeted cold calling. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, nurturing leads, and collaborating with internal teams to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound Lead Management :
  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Efficiently direct callers to the appropriate inquiry forms, providing clear guidance and assistance.
  • Qualify inbound leads to ensure they align with our target customer profile.
  • Quote Follow-Up & Conversion :
  • Proactively follow up on market quotes with potential clients via phone and email.
  • Understand customer needs and address objections to maximize quote conversion rates.
  • Strategically negotiate and close sales.
  • Customer Retention & Re-engagement :
  • Analyze last year's monthly customer data to identify reorder opportunities.
  • Reach out to past customers to foster relationships, encourage reorders, and assist them in selecting new or additional garments / products.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
  • New Business Development (Outbound) :
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify and qualify new potential customers and target markets.
  • Execute targeted cold calling campaigns to decision-makers within prospective companies.
  • Demonstrate exceptional investigative skills to identify the most relevant contact person (e.g., marketing manager for promotional items, HR lead for staff uniforms, event organizer).
  • Articulate our value proposition compellingly to generate interest and secure initial meetings or commitments.
  • Sales Performance & Reporting :
  • Generate regular sales reports to track progress, identify trends, and provide insights into sales performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM platform
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, lead tracking, and report generation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration :
  • Liaise effectively with the marketing team to align on campaigns, lead generation strategies, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting department to ensure smooth order processing, billing, and customer satisfaction, and to help identify sales growth opportunities through financial data.
  • Actively participate in meetings with marketing and accounting to share insights and strategize on ways to increase overall sales and business efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Fluent English (Written and Spoken) is mandatory. Exceptional clarity, grammar, and pronunciation are essential.
  • Proven experience in a sales, sales development, or customer service role, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly, persuasive, and professional personality.
  • Strong active listening skills and the ability to quickly understand customer needs.
  • Highly organized with strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using CRM platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and identify key decision-makers.
  • Problem-solving attitude and a proactive approach to sales challenges.
  • Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves)

  • Experience in the custom apparel, printing, or embroidery sector.
  • Familiarity with online meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
