Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist : I (Junior) Job Summary : Talent Software Services is in search of a Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist for a contract position in Akron, OH. The opportunity will be three months with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Position Summary : Under minimal supervision, the CLS1 in Special Loans performs a variety of moderately complex assignments requiring adherence to departmental procedures. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is eager to grow within the organization. The position involves coordinating, reviewing, and administering specialized programs and processes related to mortgage loans, while serving as a key contact for internal teams, external customers, and vendors. Primary Responsibilities / Accountabilities : Serve as a liaison for internal and external customers and vendors, resolving moderately complex issues through research and collaboration. Identify and resolve discrepancies between expected, reported, and actual activity. Prioritize daily workload independently and efficiently. Maintain high standards of communication, both written and verbal, with professional grammar and demeanor. Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Maintain proficiency in PC and internet-based tools. Qualifications : High School Diploma or GED required 1–3 years of experience in a processing or administrative function Basic knowledge of mortgage loans and mortgage documentation Preferred : Advanced Excel skills Experience with the Mortgage Service Package (MSP) platform Customer service experience Familiarity with recasts, partial releases, and mortgage modifications Highly motivated, focused, and goal-oriented Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Adaptable and eager to learn and grow within the organization If this job is a match for your background, we would be honored to receive your application!
