Nocturnist

Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Full Time Nocturnist to join our team!

• 180 shifts per year (primary schedule 7 on 7 off) consisting of purely nights (6 : 00 pm – 6 : 00 am)
• Two nocturnists are assigned during these shifts, affording a manageable workload. In addition, there are 2-3 residents / interns in the team. Average admissions 17 / night for the whole team.
• Primary responsibility is on-site adult (admit and cross cover) inpatient care. Superb inhouse subspecialty support. Magnet hospital - rarely need to transfer a patient out!
• In the top bar "Academic Opportunity", we should change it from NO to YES.
• Academic affiliation with Internal Medicine residency program at Creighton University School of Medicine at Phoenix.
• Collaborative and cohesive hospitalist team with near 100% retention rate and exponential growth.
• Cerner EMR links all of our outpatient and inpatient facilities.

Dignity Health Medical Group is actively seeking a highly patient-centric physician to serve as a Nocturnist Hospitalist at our St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.
