Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including such activities as dusting and cleaning all surfaces
- Removing and properly disposing of trash ensuring diversion from the waste stream for all recyclable materials
- Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, locker rooms, showers, and other similar areas
- Replenishing custodial supplies used by others including soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and similar items.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of custodial supply closets and equipment areas as assigned to the position or crew
- Cleaning glass doors, windows, and blinds
- Removing graffiti
- Making minor repairs and adjustments to equipment and furniture, such as oiling doors, tightening screws, and replacing foots on chairs and table
- Unlocks and secures custodial storage, equipment and supply rooms to access equipment, materials and supplies
- Clean and maintain floors of all types, including sweeping, dry and / or wet mopping, stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing, vacuuming, spot and full cleaning of carpets or other flooring

A valid driver's license is required for this position. Out of state candidates selected for the position must obtain a State of California driver's license within 10 days of hire in accordance with the California Department of Motor Vehicles regulations.
Once hired the employee must successfully complete the Defensive Driver Training Program provided by the State of California for California State University campuses.

Anticipated Hiring Range : up to $3,680 / month
CSU Salary Range : $3,680 / month - $4,951 / month
