The Job :

As Lead Engineer – Hardware BMS , you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team and will be working as a Hybrid employee. You are an experienced Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in electronics and motor control design in a high-volume, competitive product setting. You have demonstrated the ability to design, deliver, and thrive in a fast-paced product development environment. You are seeking a role where you can make an immediate and lasting impact on products and their end users. You’re agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch customer experiences, always.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work closely with the Global Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Purchasing teams to drive platform designs that support product portfolios across multiple strategic business units.
• Responsible for research and development of electronic hardware designs for Battery Management Systems (BMS), delivering concurrent product development projects with a high degree of technical complexity and challenges.
• Directs team design of new products and platforms, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and develop test procedures
• Set deliverables, project timelines, and report status to team leaders.
• Effectively identify and communicate major technical and schedule issues to team leaders in a clear, concise, and timely manner while driving appropriate actions.
• Work with suppliers and serve as a member of cross-functional product development teams.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is 108,000.00 - 194,400.00 USD Annual. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
