Salary : $22.06 / hr. - $27.90 / hr.

Job Description :

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling components, parts, or products according to established specifications, procedures, and quality standards. This role supports production operations by ensuring accurate assembly, maintaining a clean work environment, and following all safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, diagrams, or assembly instructions.

Assemble components or products using hand tools, power tools, or machinery.

Inspect parts and finished assemblies for accuracy, quality, and proper fit.

Perform basic troubleshooting on assembly issues and escalate when necessary.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety instructions, and quality requirements.

Maintain production pace to meet daily or weekly output targets.

Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or housekeeping standards.

Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment or next production stage.

Report defective materials, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors.

Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related production environment is an asset.

Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand / power tools.

Ability to read and understand work instructions or technical documents.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Work Environment

Fast-paced manufacturing or production setting.

Standing, bending, or repetitive motions for extended periods.

Use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection as required.
