Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as EKG Technician - Electrocardiograph. Under general medical supervision, and in accordance with standardized procedures, operates electrocardiograph equipment to record electrical wave tracing of electrical currents emanating from the heart muscle for use in the diagnosis of heart ailments; performs related work.

Job Description

• Appropriately greets patients.
• Provides pre-procedure instructions.
• Checks for electronic requisition.
• Complies with hospital infection control protocols.
• Notes irregularities in recording process and reports malfunctioning of equipment to avoid serious damages.
• Maintains point of service logs.
• Prints copies of reports as may be need.
• Reconciles EKG reports in Trace Master with Misys / Quadramed orders.
• Scans Holter into documentation system and generate reports.
