About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required, first-timers accepted

License : Valid state license required

Certifications : BLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced (must include all 11 components), Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)

Must-Have :

• Ability to perform vaginal exams
• Experience in baby care
• Experience with 100 to over 300 births

Description :

This position involves providing care for laboring and postpartum patients.

You will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1 : 2.

Experience with vaginal exams, fetal monitoring, and neonatal resuscitation is required.

You will participate in discharge teaching for parents.

Knowledge of insulin drips, magnesium sulfate therapy, and cord care is essential.

Familiarity with managing neonatal hypoglycemia and performing newborn assessments is necessary.

You will need to use electronic fetal heart monitoring effectively.

The facility is recognized as a significant delivery facility with a high birth volume.

Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support services is crucial.

Flexibility in weekend scheduling is required, with 2 weekends every 6 weeks.

The position does not require floating outside the labor and delivery scope.

No call is required for this role.
