Senior Level RF Sensor Test Engineer

You will be a senior level RF Sensor Test Engineer specializing in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) at Lockheed Martin. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge RF sensor technologies, and you will play a key role in architecting a new automated test system to support RF products across multiple areas within the company.

As a senior level RF Sensor Test Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, integrating, and validating an all-new ATE system for RF sensor technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and implementation of the ATE system, and will be responsible for ensuring that the system meets the required specifications and standards. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Architecting, designing, integrating, and validating an all-new ATE system for RF sensor technologies
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and implementation of the ATE system
  • Developing automated tests using tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C++, or equivalent scripting languages
  • Operating and maintaining RF test equipment, including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters
  • Applying working knowledge of RF principles, including S-parameters, gain, and noise figure
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the ATE system meets the required specifications and standards

We're looking for a highly experienced and skilled RF Sensor Test Engineer to join our team. If you have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, and 14 years or more of professional experience, or a related Master's degree with 12 years of professional experience, or a related PhD with 9 years of professional experience, we encourage you to apply. You should also have hands-on experience with RF test equipment, proficiency in automated test development using tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C++, or equivalent scripting languages, and a working knowledge of RF principles. The ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance is also required.

This position is in Dallas. Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Secret Clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or 9 years of professional experience with a related PhD
  • Hands on experience with RF test equipment; VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and power meters
  • Proficiency in automated test development using tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C++, or equivalent scripting languages
  • Working Knowledge of RF Principles (e.g., S-parameters, gain, noise figure)
  • Interim Secret required to start
  • Desired Skills :

  • Experience conducting RF sensor testing in anechoic chambers, including antenna pattern testing, performance validation, and signal characterization
  • Experience developing automated test systems for DoD products
  • Security Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level : Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
