Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Pay Rate :

$24.28 / hr during probationary period, then $24.28 / hr up to $30.28 / hr once qualified in position

Category / Shift :

Hourly Full-Time (Monday-Friday)

2nd Shift (3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm)

3rd Shift (11 : 00pm- 7 : 00am)

The Job You Will Perform :

Safely run machines and follow all safety rules and practices at all times;

Count and stack finished product;

Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications;Utilize basic shop math;

Accurately read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment;

Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders;

Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company;

Continually monitor the quality and quantity of production;

Maintain housekeeping continually during the assigned shift;

Performquality inspections and tests, and record findings; and

Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

The Skills You Will Bring :

3-6 monthshands on Industrial Plant manufacturing experience

Corrugated industry experience preferred

Sit down Forklift / pull pack experience preferredThe abilityto work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

The ability to accurately read a tape measurer and ruler

The ability to use basic shop math

The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
