ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Smyrna, Georgia.

Opportunity : MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details :

  • Work Monday through Friday from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM for 40 hours per week
  • Day shift position with flexibility required to meet department needs
  • Must be dependable, accountable, and cooperative
  • Perform MRI procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
  • Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions
  • Follow established procedures for contrast media administration
  • Review images for clinically acceptable results and release patients
  • Respond to emergency situations and assist other technologists when needed
  • Verify correct patient identity and maintain patient privacy and dignity
  • Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate procedures and equipment
  • Prepare and may administer contrast, verify orders and check patient GFR
  • Use appropriate safety devices to protect patients' hearing during exams
  • Maintain MRI suite in safe, locked-down environment at all times
  • Take call when necessary
  • Required certifications : ARMRIT or ARRT-MR, BLS
  • Minimum 1 year experience required with successful completion of accredited MRI program or ARRT-R
  • Must be competent in all aspects of MRI, patient positioning, pulse sequence parameters, and magnet safety
