Financial Business Analyst
The Financial Business Analyst provides services in the planning, development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of fiscal compliance and programs. Consults with local school districts, charter schools, Arizona Department of Education, and other vested entities, in assessing fiscal stability for education in Maricopa County. Primary duties include analyzing, developing, reporting, and maintaining a department's budget; researching budget and financial matters; developing budget and staffing projections; working closely with school districts and annual school district budget data for tax levies and financial solvency; monitoring school districts expenditures for spending within budget limits, forecasting staffing, costs, etc.; and analyzing budget expenditures.
The Office of the Maricopa County School Superintendent is led by the elected Superintendent. The office provides statutory services related to school governing board elections, bond and override elections, appointments, school finance, and maintaining homeschool and private school records. The Superintendent also oversees the Maricopa County accommodation district, ensuring educational opportunities for at-risk students, including those in detention schools.

We Require :
Four years of successful experience in a school district, charter school or government finance and compliance, financial report writing, and research and analysis of dataBachelor's degree in businessOther combinations of education, experience, or training that may be considered in substitution for the minimum requirementsWe Also Value :
