job_description.job_card.job_descriptionAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Strong electrical / mechanical skills; experience with 30-480V systems 5-8 years of progressive mechanical experience (conveyor systems preferred) Welding, soldering, and cutting torch expertise Responsible for company assets, including tools, supplies, and equipment Experience using tools / equipment : drills, grinders, saws, multimeter, tachometer, welder, hydraulic gear puller, forklifts, pallet jacks, platform lifts (Aerial Lift Certification preferred) Strong commitment to safety at all times Ability to work on a concrete warehouse floor all day Continuous standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and handling Ability to read printed and electronic information Full on-site presence required for team collaboration and support Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, sortation systems, forklifts, and other mechanical material handling equipment. Troubleshoot electrical control systems including motors, VFDs, servo controls, and peripheral devices to PLC inputs / outputs. Execute conveyor system projects, including installation, removal, and process improvement updates. Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems to restore full functional operation. Identify and source repair parts for failed systems. Maintain accurate records such as work orders, time sheets, and parts requests.
Pay : $34 / hr + $2 shift differential (1 PM-11 PM, Wed-Sat)
Duration : 3-month contract with great potential to be hired on
