The Center for Family and Child Enrichment (CFCE) is dedicated to help children and their families by providing the right services and solutions based on individual needs. CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community. CFCE expanded in early 2012 to include a health care center, The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center.
The Pediatric & Family Health and Wellness Center, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), offers an array of preventative health services including but not limited to : general and sick care for adults and children, OB / GYN, dental services, nutrition programs and mental health and substance abuse treatment for children and adults.

The pharmacist job entails a high level of responsibility and knowledge. A pharmacist does not merely hand out prescribed medicine; he / she has the expertise and willingness to assist people and provide them with information and solutions. The pharmacist must be fully qualified to interpret symptoms so that the patient can either be given immediate treatment for a trifling condition or to be referred to a suitable doctor. Pharmacists must be able to provide professional advice on cosmetics or para pharmaceuticals. The goal is to ensure effective medication use and become the people’s trusted ally against health issues. That way you can deliver maximum value to both the dispensary and society. Roles and responsibilities
Review and execute physician’s prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legalityOrganize the dispensary in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and fasterMaintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deteriorationListen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and adviceProvide assistance and other medical services such as immunizations, blood pressure measurements, medication therapy management (MTM), etc.Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patientKeep records of patient history and of all activities regarding medicationManages all medication assistance programsSupervises, directs, and coordinates all dispensary staff, including pharmacists and dispensary techniciansAssists with marketing activities to develop dispensary businessPerforms annual and as needed performance reviews of dispensary staffPartakes in management, and departmental meetings as scheduledSubmits monthly management reports to CFO and CEO as instructedWorks to meet annual budget for dispensary operationsGuides dispensary toward achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual projections based on financial and management objectivesFollows established channels of authority and communication throughout the organizationApproves dispensary staff schedulePerforms special tasks or projects as requestedEnsures dispensary staff adheres to all dispensary policies and proceduresInvolved in recruitment and hiring of potential dispensary staffResponsible for training dispensary personnel on day-to-day operationsComply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and proceduresAny other duties related to the pharmacist and management role as requiredQualification and Education Requirements
Possess the necessary supervisory / management skills and / or experience to supervise the dispensaryTeam playerProblem solverThorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands etc.Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and Dispensary information systemsGood organizing and time-management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a customers, clients, and employeesIntegrity and compassionDependable in attendance and job performancePreferred Skills / Experience / License / Certification
Minimum of two years experience as a pharmacistDegree in pharmacy (Pharm. D or RPh) from an accredited college of pharmacyCurrently licensed as a registered pharmacist in FloridaCFCE is a Drug Free Workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
