We are seeking our new Vice President of Sales, North America to join the SBS team!

What role will you play?

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President to lead our North American Market, overseeing our new business and account management teams across

Canada, Mexico, and the United States. This senior management role is crucial for driving customer satisfaction, growth, and strategic sales

initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in asset / automotive or similar finance technology solutions and the ability to build

strong relationships with key stakeholders, positioning SBS as a thought leader in the industry.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

Strategic Leadership :

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy and related GTM focused on customer acquisition, retention, and growth.

  • Establish clear objectives for customer NPS, cross-selling, upselling, and securing new clients.
  • Work closely with the relevant product GM(s) to agree and deliver on all strategic and financial objectives
  • Engage with partners and ecosystem players to position SBS value prop in the market

Team Management :

  • Lead a team of 6, with plans to expand by 4 members in the next two years.
  • Manage regional sales quotas and reward for the team
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent, fostering a high-performance culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Client Relationship Management :

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, including Tier 1 and Mid Tier Banks, Regional Banks, Independent Lenders, and OEM Captives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
  • Industry Representation :

  • Represent SBS at industry associations and forums, enhancing our visibility and reputation.
  • Act as a spokesperson and thought leader in asset / automotive finance technology, sharing insights at industry events.
  • Performance Monitoring :

  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Report on KPIs related to customer growth, satisfaction, and team performance to senior management.
  • Qualifications

    What do we require from you?

  • Proven leadership experience with a strong understanding of the North American financial landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education / Certification / License Requirements :
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales, people management, business development, or account management within the asset finance or financial services industry.
