Job Title : Leasing Agent
Location : 700 Unit High Rise, Washington DC (Anacostia)
Job Type : Full Time, On-site
Schedule : Monday-Friday 9a-6p; rotating Saturdays shifts
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay : $50K-$60K commensurate with experience
- Commissions for new leases
- Bonus Pool paid quarterly!

Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Leasing Agent to present and lease units to qualified candidates. As a Leasing Agent you will be responsible for leasing apartments to prospective residents. This includes following up with assigned prospects, showing units, and assisting with applications and online registration.
The ideal candidate is initiative-taking, has a passion for sales, and drives projects through to completion. The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment is key, but so is a sense of camaraderie : our team values working collaboratively.
Essential Job Duties :

Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants to help secure rental agreementMaintain awareness of apartment inventory, pricing, and availabilitySell prospective residents on the unit features, company service, and signing a leaseConfirm rental application data and personal references to ensure accuracyShow and inspect unitsCoordinate with Property Managers on unit availability and grounds upkeepEnsure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically to maintain our level of company standardsExperience :
2+ years’ experience in a customer-contact capacity or customer-service role is preferredPast real estate leasing experience preferredHigh level of energy and a “people person” who enjoys communicating with prospective residentsAbility to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel and OutlookExcellent communication and negotiation skillsWillingness to work flexible schedule - specifically weekends and weekdays after 5pmYardi experience is a plusCapability to walk the property and its surroundings, which may include stairwells, hallways, and outdoor areasOccasionally lifting and carrying objects such as packages or office supplies (typically up to 25–50 lbs).Performing tasks that may require bending, stooping, or reaching, such as checking under desks or inspecting areas that are difficult to accessli-dni
