DIRECT HIRE : A dynamic opportunity for an experienced Lead Electronics Technician to join a growing team. This is a traveling position, mostly in the Southeast US and travel / accommodation will be arranged, as well as per diem.
Salary Range : $28hr - $32hr +OT

Primary Responsibilities :
- Lead and coordinate on-site installation activities of company door devices and control systems in detention facilities, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Visit jobsites and ensure the team is installing company Control Systems per plans and specs. This may involve visiting multiple jobsites in a week.
- Site visits to evaluate existing customer control systems and work with the VP of Engineering to specify an upgraded system using company controls.
- Serve as a technical resource to all company installation team members, troubleshooting difficult problems, and mentoring technicians in installation best practices, focusing on electrical and controls systems. Mentor other installers to improve electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Supporting the Project Management team with on-site time studies and continuous improvement efforts. Evaluate and implement the most efficient installation methods and train the team on them.Supporting the Project Management team

Electric and mechanical door locking systemsRelay logic and PLC based control systems (no programming required)Requirements :
Demonstrated success in safely completing on-site installations with efficiencyExtensive travel (80% of the time) and work at various locations across the US. Travel may requires being at the jobsite for up to 3 weeks at a time before a return trip home.5 years of experience in field installation and job-site coordination or similar rolesAbility to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems with job-site fabrication of solutions / repairsUnderstanding of AC and DC electrical circuitry and relay controls wiringAbility to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrentlyCompetent in welding, primarily wire feedEffective professional communication skillsMechanical aptitude and proficiency in reading blueprints and engineering specificationsAbility to lift up to 60 lbs.Understanding of OSHA requirementsOnce you apply, please text "LET" to 904-712-6140 for a faster reply.
