Ford Transmission Apprentice Technician

The Ford Transmission Apprentice Technician is responsible for all work assigned by the technicians or team under whom the Apprentice is training and carrying out any additional functions as outlined by Service Management.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE AND BEGINS AT $22 AN HOUR.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Preform repairs as directed
• Attend training, shop meetings, continue education provided by the manufacturers to improve competence level.
• Road test vehicles to quality check work performed
• Keep shop area neat and clean and able to account for all dealership owned tools.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Document all work performed.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or maintenance work is required
• Diagnose the cause of malfunction
• Maintain CSI Level established by manufacturer and dealership standards
