Overview :
The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) has an immediate career opening for a Cyber Security Analyst. This opening is located at IDA's Center for Communications Research in Princeton, New Jersey (CCRP). Under moderate supervision, the Cyber Security Analyst II identifies and resolves potential security breaches and vulnerabilities; maintains information security tools necessary to ensure the secure operation of IDA / CCR-P’s information system infrastructure; conducts audits, in collaboration with other IT staff, to determine system configurations that ensure compliance with information security policies and guidelines; provides technical expertise and support to projects.
Responsibilities :
1.Plans Information Security Monitoring
2. Executes Media Forensics and Malware Analysis
3. Executes Information System Security Evaluation and Hardening
4. Plans Information Security Training and Projects
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation :
We support transparency, equity, and fairness in our compensation program and provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range based on data-driven market analysis for each position. While it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $89,000-$143,000. Individual salary within this range will be commensurate with the incumbent’s experience, unique skills and qualifications, and other relevant factors.
