• Permanent A respected Behavioral Health organization in the Cleveland metro area is seeking an experienced Medical Director to provide system-wide clinical leadership and help advance high-quality, mission-driven care. This is a full-time, permanent position located in a strong community close to major universities, Cleveland Hopkins Airport, and a wide range of amenities. Position Overview The Medical Director will guide clinical standards across Behavioral Health, Addiction Medicine, and Primary Care services. This leader will support providers, enhance consistency of care, and ensure the organization remains aligned with best practices and regulatory expectations. This role includes a blend of leadership responsibilities and direct patient care, with a small ongoing caseload to model best practices. Qualifications MD or DO Board Certification in Psychiatry (required) Additional certification in Addiction Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (preferred) 5+ years of clinical experience 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience State DEA registration required Experience with FQHC or community-based care models is a plus Key Responsibilities Develop and standardize clinical policies, protocols, and care processes Provide leadership, education, and support to Psychiatrists, NPs, Addiction Medicine Providers, and PCPs Lead accreditation readiness and quality improvement efforts Identify gaps in care and work collaboratively to close them Maintain a small, active patient caseload Compensation & Benefits $180,000 – $285,000, based on experience Zero monthly cost medical benefits CEU training support 10 paid holidays 401(k) Flexible schedule
