We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team! You will be preparing and cooking a variety of deserts for restaurant guests to enjoy. This is a unique opportunity to build a kitchen the way you want it, create desserts and menus for multiple different restaurants.
Responsibilities :
Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practicesEnsure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stockEnsure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roastersSeason and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experienceTurn or stir foods to ensure even cookingRespond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalismQualifications :
Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferredServeSafe or Food Handlers certification (or must be willing to attain)Effective communication skillsAbility to lift 30+ lbsAbility to work standing for 8+ hoursComplete our short application today!
