Summary : Our Charlotte client, a leading transportation and logistics provider, is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist with high-volume, full-cycle AP experience who is living in Charlotte to help them out on a 3+ month REMOTE assignment that may be extended. In this role, you will process high volume PO and Non-PO invoices, research and resolve discrepancies, prepare weekly vendor payments, reconcile purchasing and credit card transactions, and support month-end AP activities. You'll also handle vendor inquiries, manage AP-related communications, and ensure timely, accurate processing to keep operations running smoothly.

Location : Charlotte, NC - 100% Remote (Must be local to Charlotte - onsite training required initially)

Opportunity : 3-month contract (possible extension!)

Compensation : $24 / hour

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm

Key Responsibilities :

• Process high-volume PO and Non-PO vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Serve as the primary contact for AP inquiries via phone and email.
• Manage incoming mail and support weekly payment runs for vendor disbursements.
• Upload and reconcile Purchasing, Travel, and Tax credit card transactions.
• Handle invoice voids, payment stops, reissues, and wire payment postings.
• Pull bi-weekly Out-of-Pocket expenses from Concur and align with Payroll.
• Monitor vendor accounts, resolving aged credits and account holds.
