Business Systems Analyst

About the Role

We’re looking for a Lead Business Systems Analyst to join our team and help drive data initiatives by bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. You’ll play a key role in shaping product direction through Agile practices and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

Act as the liaison between stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams

Lead the development of Features and User Stories in an Agile environment

Drive and facilitate backlog refinement sessions and sprint planning

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to define and decompose Epics

Document technical and functional requirements, including source-to-target mappings

Identify and manage project risks and issues, raising impediments as needed

Support cross-functional teams with clear communication and prioritization

Qualifications

Strong experience in Agile methodology, including story writing and backlog management

Expertise with data warehouse technologies including Snowflake, DataStage, Python / PySpark, Infogix , and Tableau

Proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical deliverables

Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills
