Responsibilities :
- Verify patients' medical insurance coverage and eligibility to ensure proper billing and payment processes.
- Coordinate prior authorizations with healthcare providers and insurance companies as needed.
- Manage patient scheduling efficiently, including appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations.
- Welcome patients and visitors warmly, ensuring all inquiries are addressed with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate and organized records, including updating patient information and medical histories.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately while managing front desk operations.
- Assist in processing payments and managing billing inquiries from patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

- Previous experience in medical insurance verification and prior authorizations.
- Proficiency in managing patient scheduling and coordinating appointments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
- Familiarity with receptionist duties, including handling phone calls and greeting visitors.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of healthcare billing processes and procedures.
- Organizational skills to ensure the reception area remains well-maintained and orderly.
- Experience in a healthcare or medical office setting is highly preferred.
