This is a full-time, hands-on role for someone who's not afraid of heights, enjoys working outdoors, and is ready to learn a specialized trade. You'll assist experienced technicians in residential and commercial chimney sweep and restoration work while gaining valuable skills in a growing industry. No prior masonry or chimney experience is necessary-just a strong work ethic, good attitude, and willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities- Assist technicians with chimney sweeping and inspections, masonry repairs, restoration tasks, and hearth appliance installations..- Operate ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment at heights.- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.- Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to company safety protocols.- Interact professionally with clients and team members.- Complete training programs to develop technical knowledge and skills.- Perform other general labor and support tasks as needed. Qualifications- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.- Reliable transportation to and from work.- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.- No fear of heights; comfortable working on ladders and rooftops.- Honest, dependable, and able to work well with others.- Background checks will be completed in compliance with applicable laws.- Masonry or general trade experience is helpful but not required.
