job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology Engineering or related field At minimum, five (5) years of relevant experience as a Penetration Tester performing both network and application-level testing using established test protocols and methods. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree , four (4) additional years of related experience may be substituted. DoD 8570 compliance with IAT III (CASP+ CE, GCED, CCNP, GCIH, CISA, CCSP, CISSP). There are multiple opportunities for PTs - compensation is commensurate with experience. We consider employees first in business decisions. It is hard enough to work through the personal / social / technical hurdles that come with your position as a cleared defense contractor - no need to fight your own employer's red tape as well. We offer a compensation package that is more than just commensurate with this closed contractor community. We offer generous benefits (PTO, training support, etc) in addition to the generous salaries. We know that you know - salary isn't everything. We typically perform daily tasks such as :
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert providing testing expertise of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Direct and / or participate in the testing phase of security controls assessments using specialized knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, architectures, equipment, services, and standards
- Perform vulnerability and penetration testing using a wide variety of tools
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to information systems security
- Interpret agency specific and federal security regulations
- Perform both network and application-level testing using established testing protocols and Methods
To get started in this exciting opportunity, you need a TS / SCI clearance with at least a CI polygraph .
