LEAD PRODUCTION TRAINER (Surface)

The Lead Surface Production Trainer will train new and existing operators at the Carlsbad Surface. The role is responsible for creating implementing overseeing and recordkeeping for employees to be safe and successful during day-to-day operations of the K-Mag Granulation and Storage and Loading facilities. The role will also take the lead on safety related surface production training needs such as area hazard awareness applicable blue book policies lifesaving rules etc. This role will lead the implementation of safety projects as needed and is responsible for conducting site audits and inspections.

Where will you work : Onsite at Carlsbad NM ( 1361 Potash Mines Road - Carlsbad NM 88220 )

Schedule : 9 / 80 schedule (Monday-Friday with every other Friday off 6am-3pm).

What youll do

• Design training programs : Create tailored training programs that promote continuous learning and development.
• Identify training needs : Assess the needs of employees and recommend programs and activities.
• Deliver training programs : Conduct training programs and provide feedback to participants.
• Evaluate training effectiveness : Measure the effectiveness of training programs.
• Ensure compliance : Ensure that training programs comply with company policies and procedures.
• Guide managers and supervisors : Help managers and supervisors develop training skills.
• Maintain records : Keep records of training programs and participants.
• Work with operations and maintenance to assist in the implementation of new safety processes improvements or capital projects.
• Responsible for conducting audits and inspections.
• Reviews and authorizes work permits.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.
• Backfill Site Supervisor.
• Train on shift work as needed.
