Preferred : DISA FAMIS experience. Security Clearance : Secret or higher. Working Capital Fund Lead Financial Analyst (Strategy) - ESAG
BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a full-time Working Capital Fund Lead Financial Analyst (Strategy) to support the U.S. Space Force's Enterprise Space Activity Group (ESAG). Our client is a boutique consulting firm specializing in delivering strategic, financial, and operational solutions to defense agencies with a focus on mission impact and modernization.

What You Will Do
As the Lead Financial Analyst (Strategy) , you will drive strategic planning and transition efforts for the implementation and optimization of the Working Capital Fund (WCF) model within the U.S. Space Force. You will develop long-range financial transition strategies, align WCF initiatives with enterprise goals, and coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution across organizational units. This role requires a high-level view of financial operations, analytical depth, and the ability to translate complex data into mission-driven strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of transition strategies for the implementation or refinement of Working Capital Fund structures
- Conduct strategic assessments and identify organizational, operational, and financial impacts of WCF adoption
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement across OCFO, operations, logistics, and mission support functions
- Develop financial models, strategic roadmaps, and performance metrics to guide transition planning and execution
- Ensure alignment with Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force, and Space Force financial policy and goals
- Prepare executive briefings, decision memos, and financial presentations for senior leaders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial strategy with budgeting, accounting, and reporting operations
- Support enterprise readiness assessments, risk mitigation planning, and policy formulation
- Leverage tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SharePoint for analysis and communication
