We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join our team in Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a team, engage in sophisticated tax planning, and drive business development within a collaborative and supportive environment. This role is a direct path to a leadership position as a Partner or Managing Director in our firm.

As a key member of our corporate tax practice, you will work on business income tax planning, corporate compliance, and ASC 740 income tax accounting. You will be the primary tax relationship holder for your clients, managing multiple engagements, and leveraging our extensive resources and specialist teams, including our Washington National Tax Office, to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct multiple client service teams, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of tax projects across various industries.
• Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to a diverse client base.
• Lead business development efforts by leveraging your professional network to identify and sell services to both existing and new clients, meeting sales and revenue targets.
• Mentor, train, and develop staff, providing performance feedback and conducting reviews.
• Conduct primary and secondary reviews of complex corporate tax returns and ASC 740 income tax provisions.
• Research and consult on a wide range of tax matters, maintaining strong client relationships as the primary point of contact.
• Effectively manage engagement fundamentals, including realization, utilization, and accounts receivable.
