Senior Planner

Responsibilities

We have a compelling requirement for a senior planner to support our government customer in Maryland. This position requires an active TS / SCI security clearance.

Core Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Planning and Analysis :

• Conducting strategic analyses of the operating environment national and Department priorities and other strategies to identify emerging threats and opportunities.
• Develop refine and execute strategic plans that support the full range of the programs functions and responsibilities translating organizational goals and objectives into actionable plans that meet the Directors intent and vision forward.
• This includes setting key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets and implementing tracking mechanisms and report performance measures that evaluate program effectiveness in achieving strategic goals
• Leading or participating in strategic planning exercises that incorporate roles responsibilities and functions.
• Includes scenario planning and forecasting : Developing and maintaining operational models to forecast future performance under various scenarios and identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
• Competitive Analysis : Researching and analyzing competitors strategies market share and product offerings to identify potential threats and opportunities for the organization.

Target Salary Range

$112000 - $179000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
