Responsibilities

Training & Development

  • Participate in structured training programs covering insurance products, sales techniques, client service, and compliance.
  • Work closely with experienced agents to shadow client meetings and learn best practices.
  • Study for and obtain state insurance licenses (e.g., Property & Casualty, Life & Health).

Sales Support

  • Assist agents in preparing quotes, proposals, and policy comparisons.
  • Conduct outbound calls to leads, schedule appointments, and follow up on inquiries.
  • Learn how to build rapport with clients and understand their insurance needs.
  • Customer Service

  • Provide administrative support such as processing policy changes, filing documents, and responding to basic customer service questions.
  • Learn to handle customer concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Help clients navigate the claims process and connect them with appropriate resources.
  • Agency Operations

  • Support daily agency operations such as CRM updates, policy reviews, and workflow optimization.
  • Participate in marketing and community outreach initiatives to build brand awareness.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory guidelines and ethical standards.
  • Requirement

  • High school diploma required; Bachelors degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid insurance license in Property and Casualty AND Life, Health, and Accident OR a willingness to obtain both in the State of Missouri.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in insurance or a related industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
