Addiction Psychiatry Director Opening - West Bloomfield, MI Seeking a Psychiatrist with expertise in Addiction Psychiatry / Medicine to further develop and expand a substance use disorder service line at an award-winning residential substance abuse center, multiple outpatient clinics and consult services. Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Center offers the full scope of addiction treatment, including 24-hour residential care, detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, individual and group therapy, and family support programs. Board-certified addiction experts have proven treatment plans that can safely put you or your loved one on the road to recovery. For 40 years, an experienced team has been using evidence-based treatment and personalized programs to treat the whole person body, mind and spirit. - Accredited by The Joint Commission and nationally recognized for excellence in addiction treatment by both Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna.- Award-winning residential substance abuse center, multiple outpatient clinics, and consult services.- The role involves further developing and expanding a substance use disorder service line.- Education of multiple trainees is a core component of the position.- There is the possibility of expanding research within the field.- Significant leadership opportunities are available across multiple hospitals and clinics.- The practice setting includes inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic.- The position is for a new role within the organization.- Desired start date is ASAP.- Candidates need solid work experience in addiction medicine.- The documentation system / EMR used is Epic. Requirements - Board Certified in Psychiatry- Board Certified in Addiction Medicine / Psychiatry- Clean Malpractice / License History- Completion of fellowship in Addiction Medicine / Psychiatry- 3+ years of work experience (not including residency / fellowship) in Psychiatry / Addiction Medicine- Prior leadership work experience in Psychiatry / Addiction Medicine Compensation and Benefits : - Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview).
